Attorney Stephanie Thomson joined Stackpole & French Law Offices in 2017. Stephanie focuses her practice primarily on transactional real estate including purchases, sales, and refinances. She works out of the firm’s Stowe office but attends closings all over Northern Vermont and works with brokers and clients throughout the State. Stephanie is licensed to practice law in Vermont and New Hampshire.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie worked for a New Hampshire law firm where she assisted clients in family law issues, estate planning, and real estate matters. Her knowledge and previous experience in these practice areas has been a valuable addition to the firm’s existing and new clients.

Stephanie is originally from Winthrop, Maine and now lives in Greensboro, Vermont. She graduated from the University of Maine in 2009 with a B.A. in English and received her J.D. magna cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2016. During law school, Stephanie served as a member and Senior Notes Editor of the Vermont Law Review.

Stephanie is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and the New Hampshire Bar Association, and currently volunteers for a pro bono legal services program with the St. Johnsbury Community Justice Center in St. Johnsbury, VT. Stephanie also teaches English at Community College of Vermont in Morrisville.
