Probate Paralegal Marlene Merriam Tobin joined Stackpole & French Law Offices in May 2019 as a Legal Assistant, primarily working at the Jeffersonville office supporting the firm’s litigation attorneys with a
wide range of legal and administrative tasks as well as assisting with client billing and general office support.
Marlene has been involved in every aspect of probate administration, from the initial meeting with clients, researching and gathering information for decedent’s assets, to the final distribution of assets to beneficiaries and closing estates since June 2020. Marlene works closely with clients to facilitate an efficient probate administration and is always willing to assist clients in navigating simple or complex estates.
Marlene is a life-long resident of Lamoille County. She has a background in banking finance and loans, bookkeeping and payroll, office management, and in the hospitality industry.
